JOB VACANCY: Community Coaches & Performance Coaches

Following a year of strong growth, the City Of Leeds Basketball Foundation has a number of exciting opportunities for young and experienced coaches alike ahead of the 2022/23 season.

The 2022/23 season will see the City Of Leeds Basketball programme active in both Junior National League and Regional competition with an increase to 19 teams across the programme.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a passion for the sport, who wish to develop their coaching in multiple settings; these include our extensive community programme, as well as our development and performance squads.

We have both paid and voluntary positions available for an immediate start across our programme.

COLBF Director Matt Newby is excited by the growth of the programme this summer:

"This past season saw post-COVID participation numbers soar, and to meet this increased demand while maintaining the high standard of coaching that we offer, the development of aspiring young coaches is integral to this mission. We look forward to creating opportunities for people to get involved, educated and mentored as they join our programme ahead of an exciting year."

To apply, please send an expression of interest along with an up to date CV to m.newby@cityofleedsbasketballclub.co.uk

The City Of Leeds Basketball Foundation is committed to recruiting individuals from all backgrounds and promotes equality and diversity in our coaching team. Furthermore, we are dedicated to providing coaches with the opportunity to up-skill through mentorship and education during their time with the club.
