THE CITY OF LEEDS BASKETBALL CLUB

The City of Leeds Basketball Club is the development aspect of our performance pathway, through which talented players get exposure to regional and national competition.

We currently have 12 boys teams and 4 girls teams active in Basketball England's Junior National League Structure.  Competing at U12's, U14's, U16's and U18's levels.

Our Story

The COLBC was founded in 2007 as the Carr Manor Kings and has transitioned through several iterations from Leeds Carnegie in 2008, to Leeds Force in 2014 and now the City Of Leeds Basketball Club since 2017.

The club has always been central to the Yorkshire basketball fraternity and has consistently produced representatives at regional and national team level. As the 2022/23 season approaches we are excited about the opportunities that we can offer the young people in the Yorkshire region.

I'm sure you get lots of constructive criticism but I'm a great believer in giving credit where it's due. Ross came home from training last night, I asked the usual question, how did it go last night, he said it was 'amazing'.

He said the training session was fantastic, he loved it. The coach was giving him lots of feedback and advice which he took on board and his team mates were chanting his name in encouragement.  Please pass on my thanks to all involved in his training session last night.  We have one very happy boy.  Thank you
